]]> This morning our campaign announced raising more than $155k in just eight weeks in our campaign to defeat Jim Jordan in Ohio’s 4th district.

We raised this with $0 from PACs and over 4,000 individual contributions. This groundswell of support demonstrates that Americans are sick and tired of the divisive rhetoric of Jim Jordan and Donald Trump. I am a different kind of candidate, I’ve been laid off due to downsizing, I’ve struggled to find healthcare for myself and my daughter.

Our message is resonating, and if we have the resources, we can rid this district of Jim Jordan in 2020.

I am on the ballot!

Our campaign is important, and I know that together we can make a difference for America.

When we win, we will have defeated a member of Congress.

Who has a 0% rating from Planned Parenthood and replace him with a champion for choice.

That has voted against working families 97% of the time and replace him with a member of the working-class.

Who obstructs justice to assist President Trump, and replace with a fighter who will give no president a free pass.

This is our chance to change the way Washington works. On December 31, we will have our final end-of-quarter deadline before the primary. This deadline matters, and every dollar we raise puts us closer to winning in March and eventually in November! Please help us win by giving what you can!

]]> I want to take a moment and tell you more about myself and why I decided to run against Jordan in this gerrymandered district.

Recently a supporter of my opponent said that Sites’ associate degree isn’t good enough for Congress, and I’d be eaten by the sharks in DC.

When I go to Congress, I’ll be in the minority; I am not a lawyer or a hedge fund manager. I wasn’t born into a political dynasty, nor have I ever worked for a politician.

I am a veteran of the United States Army, who returned home to Ohio with a family to raise and poor job prospects. I pursued my passion for photography and earned an associate’s degree from a community college. Now I work as a logistical manager. Hearing those on the other side say I am not good enough to be in Congress, makes me want to fight even harder to win this election.

I believe that Congress needs a few more members who are not part of the 1% and understand the struggles of middle-America. I am running to give a voice to those of us that Congress has forgotten while giving hand-outs to CEOs.

I hope to bring a little bit of sanity and a different kind of voice to Congress. If you agree, please join us today by chipping in whatever you can!
